Meet the team at Little Forest Childcare & Forest School
Tracy
is a Level 4 Early Years Educator and an advanced Forest School leader, Paediatric First Aider and Safeguarding Officer. Tracy has been graded outstanding by Ofsted on numerous occasions throughout her career in childcare. Tracy lives on site with her husband and 3 children. Ava & Harrison are often seen helping after school.
Pauline
is a qualified Early Years Teacher and an advanced Forest School leader, Paediatric First Aider and Safeguarding Officer. Pauline has been graded Ofsted Outstanding on numerous occasions in her childcare career.
Stella
is an apprentice at Little Forest Childcare currently studying her Early Years Educator Level 3 qualification.
Summer
has experience of working in before & after school clubs along with teaching children’s gymnastics, Summer holds a sports level 3 qualification.
Working together
We work closely with 2 other local settings who are equally as passionate about the benefits of outdoor learning as we are.
The Ofsted Outstanding Clophill Preschool are an outdoor setting who cater for children from age 2 to 5 years, Little Forest provides wrap around care for the children who attend, we open from 7.30am until preschool drop off and we collect again at 3pm and offer extended care until 5.30pm, we offer the children a healthy breakfast and a substantial evening meal, we work in partnership with the preschool and share information regarding children’s learning so that we can support each child to achieve the best for their age and ability.
The Fledglings, is a part time provision for children aged 4 to 7 year olds offering quality education with a focus on emotional well being and intelligence and we love their ‘go outside grow outside’ vision.
